Wallpaper Scraper vs. Steamer

If your wallpaper has been applied directly to sheetrock, you may have better results using a wallpaper removing agent or chemical rather than a steamer. The reason is a steamer may also loosen the sheetrock or the paper backing on the sheetrock, and may cause small to large pieces to come off with the wallpaper when you remove it.
