For Phones Where Looks Matter the Most, Have a Look at Nokia 8600

A number of people do not want phones that are mobile computers. They want their phone to be just that and they want their phones to look really good. With Nokia 8600 Luna, the Finnish phone makers has decided to target these people. Nokia 8600 has pretty much those features which you would only find in an entry level phone. It the looks of this phone which make it look such a product that you should lust for.

Nokia 8600 comes in a compact body. It is mere 16 mm thick. The body of this phone is made of birght stainless steel. Now there are a number of cases where you find phones made of various metals but the finish and build quality of this phone from Nokia is among some of the best ever to have been introduced in the luxury phone market. For all the people who treat their mobile phone as a fashion accessory, Nokia 8600 Luna is just the perfect buy. It has superb looks, great usability and an acceptable battery life.

The screen is another selling point of Nokia 8600. This phone comes with a screen that is protected by smoked glass that is hardened to protect it from getting scratched. The phone has a smallish 2 inch screen with QVGA resolution. The result is that while the screen does look gorgeous, the fonts and everything displayed on the screen gets miniaturized. It means that in a  number of  cases, you would have to squint to read the display. This is not exactly a phone meant for people who do a lot for texting.

Apart from a screen that makes you squint another main factor that restricts heavy text usage is that this phone is its keypad. Why of why did Nokia put a plastic key pad in a phone that is otherwise made of metal. Tactile feedback is nothing to write home about and you end up typing keys twice or more!
